What We Do:

Tir Na nOg was opened in 1997 in the heart of the City of Raleigh NC. It is Raleigh's largest, and first Irish pub. A large cavernous room back then has slowly been filled with many items from  the  homeland. Ole Irish pub tables, the bric and brac round the stone fire.  Pictures of  Aurthur Guinness and William B Yeats adorn the walls, we  even have have a barrow of turf. But you could not import Irish hospitality, nor warm welcomes, and great craic.

We are proud to say that the pub has  now grown into all of that and more . Tir Na Nog  came under New ownership almost 4 years ago, A new owner  and Irish management . And in these past 3 years We are very  proud to have won many awards  from Best brunch, best live music venue, best food, and  best management.  So when we are ask what we do at Tir Na nOg,  We always like to say we do our best we  all give it a 110% and it shows.  In 2008  NC Pinecone Center handed us the title of HOME of Traditional Irish music. Our Sunday session  includes an hour of instruction from a wonderful traditional teacher Ms Julie Ross.

Add that to Live Irish Music every Friday from 7 until 9pm. Irish dancers on the 2 and fourth Saturdays of the month and many visiting touring Irish and Scottish bands Including our now legendary Kilt Nights.
