The favorite legend of Tir na nÓg is that of the love between Niamh (pronounced Neeve) and Ossian (O-Sheen), a goddess and a Celtic warrior, whose love story takes them across the ocean, through the ages, and into legend. Everyone loves a good love story and maybe it is because of the legend that Tir Na Nog has become a popular singles hangout. Everyone looking for LOVE.. We are happy to be able to say it works, as we have had many couples meet and even come back to get engaged at the bar. And we have had the pleasure of hosting the engagement and quite often rehearsal dinner.
